Opportunity and position information: Automotive B Technician for Mechanical Repair - International Sport Motors (ISM) is looking for an experienced Automotive B Technician to join our growing collision and mechanical repair facility in San Francisco.
We are a high-volume shop specializing in collision repair, mechanical service, diagnostics, and OEM-certified repairs for Subaru, Kia, and Hyundai. We are looking for a technician who is dependable, productive, team-oriented, and looking for long-term growth in a professional environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical repairs and light to moderate diagnostics
- Suspension, brake, cooling system, and maintenance repairs
- Perform pre/post scans and assist with ADAS-related procedures
- Perform vehicle inspections and document findings
- Support collision-related mechanical repairs and R&R operations
- Work efficiently alongside body and paint departments
- Maintain clean and organized work habits
- Communicate clearly with advisors and management regarding vehicle status
Qualifications:
- 3+ years automotive repair experience preferred
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and repair procedures
- Ability to perform repairs independently with minimal supervision
- Diagnostic ability is a plus
- Experience with import vehicles preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Own tools required
