McIlvain Motors LLC in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a skilled and experienced Porsche technician to join our team, silver or gold level tech is preferred.

This is not an entry level position. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years experience at a Porsche dealership or 10 years experience at an independent shop.  Porsche certifications are preferred, we prefer someone who attended the Porsche Training Program (Owner is a PTAP grad).

Responsibilities:

•  Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned

• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, flushing fluids, etc.

• Utilize specialized diagnostic equipment and software to accurately diagnose complex issues and provide effective solutions.

• Repair and replace faulty components, including engine, transmission, suspension, electrical systems, brakes, and other Porsche-specific parts.

• Conduct diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues and provide accurate repair recommendations

• Repair or replace broken or faulty parts and fix issue

• Utilize power tools and equipment to complete repairs efficiently

• Stay up-to-date with advancements in automotive technology.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area 

Requirements:

• Valid drivers license and a good driving record is required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Factory apprentice program (PTAP) preferred but not a requirement

• Must be able to operate a variety of vehicles both manual and automatic transmissions

• Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical components of vehicles.

• Ability to use various tools effectively.

• Ability to use computers for data entry and data management.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
