McIlvain Motors LLC in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a skilled and experienced Porsche technician to join our team, silver or gold level tech is preferred.
This is not an entry level position. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years experience at a Porsche dealership or 10 years experience at an independent shop. Porsche certifications are preferred, we prefer someone who attended the Porsche Training Program (Owner is a PTAP grad).

Responsibilities:
-
Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned
-
Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, flushing fluids, etc.

Utilize specialized diagnostic equipment and software to accurately diagnose complex issues and provide effective solutions.

Repair and replace faulty components, including engine, transmission, suspension, electrical systems, brakes, and other Porsche-specific parts.

Conduct diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues and provide accurate repair recommendations

Repair or replace broken or faulty parts and fix issue
-
Utilize power tools and equipment to complete repairs efficiently
-
Stay up-to-date with advancements in automotive technology.

Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
-
Valid drivers license and a good driving record is required
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Factory apprentice program (PTAP) preferred but not a requirement
-
Must be able to operate a variety of vehicles both manual and automatic transmissions
-
Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical components of vehicles.

Ability to use various tools effectively.

Ability to use computers for data entry and data management.

Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
