Opportunity and position information: Automotive B Technician for Mechanical Repair - International Sport Motors (ISM) is looking for an experienced Automotive B Technician to join our growing collision and mechanical repair facility in San Francisco.

We are a high-volume shop specializing in collision repair, mechanical service, diagnostics, and OEM-certified repairs for Subaru, Kia, and Hyundai. We are looking for a technician who is dependable, productive, team-oriented, and looking for long-term growth in a professional environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical repairs and light to moderate diagnostics
• Suspension, brake, cooling system, and maintenance repairs
• Perform pre/post scans and assist with ADAS-related procedures
• Perform vehicle inspections and document findings
• Support collision-related mechanical repairs and R&R operations
• Work efficiently alongside body and paint departments
• Maintain clean and organized work habits
• Communicate clearly with advisors and management regarding vehicle status

Qualifications:

• 3+ years automotive repair experience preferred
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and repair procedures
• Ability to perform repairs independently with minimal supervision
• Diagnostic ability is a plus
• Experience with import vehicles preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Own tools required
